BIO
Paolo Foglia
Paolo Foglia is Head of the Sustainable Development – Orienta division at Centrocot.
After gaining decades of professional experience in the environmental and social certification sector, he founded Orienta in 2022, now part of Centrocot.
From the mid-1990s until 2022, he worked first at the Italian Association for Organic Agriculture (AIAB) and subsequently at the Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification (ICEA), where, starting in 2004, he held the role of Non-Food Certification Manager, coordinating and directing certification activities in numerous sectors, including:
- textiles, clothing, and footwear
- natural and organic cosmetics
- bio-building materials
- responsible tourism
- biofuels
